Orta Doğu’daki gerilim, turizm tercihlerini yeniden şekillendiriyor.

Mayıs tatili rezervasyonlarında Türkiye yüzde 53 payla liderliğini korurken, Mısır ve Çin öne çıkan destinasyonlar arasında yer aldı.

Rusya Turizm Endüstrisi Birliği verilerine göre, Orta Doğu’daki gelişmeler turizm tercihlerini önemli ölçüde etkiledi. Bölgenin büyük ölçüde kapanmasıyla birlikte 2026 yılı mayıs tatili için yapılan yurt dışı rezervasyonlarında Türkiye, Mısır ve Çin öne çıkan destinasyonlar oldu.

Verilere göre Türkiye yüzde 53’lük payla liderliğini sürdürürken, Mısır yüzde 22 ile ikinci sıraya yerleşti. Orta Doğu destinasyonları ise yaşanan krizler nedeniyle turistik listelerden çıkarıldı. Ayrıca, tur operatörü Intourist verileri Kızıldeniz bölgesine olan talebin bir yılda yüzde 188 arttığını ortaya koydu. Resort Holiday Pazarlama Direktörü Irina Taku, Mısır’ın Birleşik Arap Emirlikleri’ne tam anlamıyla alternatif olamayacağını belirterek, ülkenin daha çok uygun fiyatlı tatil seçenekleriyle öne çıktığını ifade etti.

Taku’ya göre Mısır ve Vietnam, üç ve dört yıldızlı otellerin yoğun olduğu bütçe dostu destinasyonlar arasında yer alırken, lüks segmentte en güçlü alternatif olarak Maldivler öne çıkıyor. Yapılan değerlendirmelere göre iki kişilik Mısır tatilinin uçak dahil yaklaşık 2 bin 140 dolardan başladığı, Türkiye’de bu rakamın 1670 dolar seviyesinde olduğu, Maldivler’de ise en az 4 bin 160 dolara ulaştığı belirtildi.

Turizm piyasası analisti Igor Blinov, Türkiye’nin rezervasyonların yarısından fazlasını aldığını doğrularken, fiyat artışlarına dikkat çekti. Blinov, bu sezon farklı destinasyonlarda fiyatların en az yüzde 10-15 arttığını ve yakın mesafeli deniz tatili seçeneklerinin azalmasının ulaşım maliyetlerini yükselttiğini vurguladı.

Rusya’da mayıs tatilinin 1-3 ve 9-11 Mayıs olmak üzere iki ayrı üç günlük döneme bölünmesi de rezervasyon hareketliliğini etkileyen unsurlar arasında yer aldı. Bu durumun, turizm talebinde dağılıma yol açtığı belirtiliyor.

RUSSIAN TOURISTS’ PREFERENCE TURKEY

Tensions in the Middle East are reshaping tourism preferences.

Turkey continues to maintain its leadership with a 53% share in May holiday bookings, while Egypt and China have emerged as prominent destinations.

According to data from the Russian Union of the Tourism Industry, developments in the Middle East have significantly affected travel choices. With the region largely closed, Turkey, Egypt, and China stand out in overseas bookings for the May 2026 holiday period.

The data shows that Turkey remains the leader with a 53% share, while Egypt ranks second with 22%. Middle Eastern destinations have been removed from tourism lists due to ongoing crises. In addition, data from the tour operator Intourist reveals that demand for the Red Sea region has increased by 188% over the past year.

Irina Taku, Marketing Director of Resort Holiday, stated that Egypt cannot fully replace the United Arab Emirates, noting that it stands out mainly as a budget-friendly holiday destination.

According to Taku, Egypt and Vietnam are among budget destinations dominated by three- and four-star hotels, while the Maldives stands out as the strongest alternative in the luxury segment.

Evaluations show that a two-person holiday package to Egypt, including flights, starts at approximately $2,140, while in Turkey this figure is around $1,670. In the Maldives, it reaches at least $4,160.

Tourism market analyst Igor Blinov confirmed that Turkey accounts for more than half of all bookings, while also drawing attention to rising prices. Blinov noted that prices across different destinations have increased by at least 10–15% this season and that the reduction of nearby seaside holiday options has led to higher transportation costs.

The division of Russia’s May holiday into two separate three-day periods (May 1–3 and May 9–11) is also affecting booking activity. This situation is reported to have led to a spread in tourism demand.
