TURGUT TORUNOĞULLARI: BİLGİLERİMİZİ BİRLEŞTİREREK AVRUPA’DA DAHA GÜÇLÜ OLACAĞIZ

DTİK Hollanda – Den Bosch Buluşması’nda konuşan DTİK Avrupa Bölge Temsilciler Kurulu Başkanı Turgut Torunoğulları, Türk iş dünyasının Avrupa’da işçiden işverene uzanan dönüşümüne dikkat çekerek birlik ve ortak akıl çağrısı yaptı.

DTİK HOLLANDA – DEN BOSCH BULUŞMASI GERÇEKLEŞTİRİLDİ

Dış Ekonomik İlişkiler Kurulu (DEİK) çatısı altında faaliyet gösteren Dünya Türk İş Konseyi (DTİK), Hollanda’daki Türk iş dünyası temsilcilerini Den Bosch’ta bir araya getirdi. Edelstall Sintronic salonunda düzenlenen toplantıda, Avrupa’daki Türk diasporasının mevcut durumu, karşılaştığı sorunlar ve geleceğe yönelik stratejiler kapsamlı biçimde ele alındı.

Toplantıya, DTİK Avrupa Bölge Temsilciler Kurulu Başkanı ve DTİK Hollanda Temsilcisi Turgut Torunoğulları başkanlık etti.

DİPLOMATİK VE KURUMSAL YOĞUN KATILIM

Buluşmaya Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin Hollanda’daki diplomatik ve ticari temsilcileri de yoğun ilgi gösterdi. Toplantıya; DEİK Genel Sekreter Yardımcısı Adem Yavuz, T.C. Rotterdam Muavin Konsolosu Bilal Köse, T.C. Lahey, Rotterdam ve Amsterdam Ticaret Ataşeleri T.C. Lahey Büyükelçiliği Hazine ve Maliye Müşaviri Zafer Düzenli ve T.C. Amersfoort Fahri Başkonsolosu Titus F. P. Kramer katıldı.

‘ARTIK AVRUPA’DA SADECE ÇALIŞAN DEĞİL, KARAR VEREN KONUMUNDAYIZ’

Toplantının ana gündemini değerlendiren Turgut Torunoğulları, Türk toplumunun Avrupa’daki sosyoekonomik dönüşümüne dikkat çekerek şu ifadeleri kullandı:

“İşçi olarak geldiğimiz ülkelerde artık işveren durumundayız. Eğitimle güçlenen gençlerimiz Avrupa’nın kilit noktalarında görev alıyor, iş dünyasında ve siyasette söz sahibi oluyor.”

Torunoğulları, Hollanda genelinde daha kapsayıcı ve yaygın bir DTİK temsil yapısı oluşturmayı hedeflediklerini belirterek, son yıllarda Hollanda’ya gelen expatlar ve Hollanda’da eğitim almış genç profesyonellerle düzenli toplantılar yaptıklarını kaydetti.

‘BİRLİKTEN GÜÇ DOĞAR’ VURGUSU

Gençlerin önünü açmaya yönelik çalışmalara özel önem verdiklerini dile getiren Torunoğulları, bu toplantılardan elde edilen bilgi ve tespitlerin dosyalar halinde DEİK Başkanı Nail Olpak ve yönetim kuruluna sunulduğunu aktardı.

“Hayaller bitmez. Birlikten güç doğar. Gelin, bilgilerimizi paylaşarak birlikte büyüyelim,” diyerek Türk iş insanlarını DTİK çatısı altında birleşmeye davet etti.

DTİK, DİASPORA DİPLOMASİSİNİN ANAHTARI

DEİK Genel Sekreter Yardımcısı Adem Yavuz ise konuşmasında DTİK’in yalnızca bir iş ağı olmadığını vurgulayarak, “DTİK, Türkiye ile diaspora arasında stratejik bir köprü görevi görüyor. Avrupa’daki Türk iş dünyasının kurumsal kapasitesini artırmak ve sektörler arası iş birliklerini güçlendirmek önceliklerimiz arasında,” dedi.

HUKUKİ SORUNLAR VE AB SÜRECİ GÜNDEMDE

Toplantının değerlendirme bölümünde, Hollanda’daki Türk yatırımcıların yaşadığı hukuki sorunlar, sivil toplum kuruluşlarının rolü ve kurumsal temsiliyetin güçlendirilmesi konuları ele alındı.

Ayrıca; kadın-erkek dengesinin artırılması, Türk ve Avrupa iş kültürlerinin uyumlaştırılması, sektörel çalışma gruplarının kurulması ve Avrupa Birliği süreci ve Avrupa Parlamentosu ile temasların artırılması başlıkları üzerinde duruldu.

Toplantı sonunda, Türk diasporasının sorun ve taleplerinin AB düzeyinde daha güçlü şekilde dile getirilmesi gerektiği vurgulandı.

TURGUT TORUNOĞULLARI: BY COMBINING OUR KNOWLEDGE, WE WILL BE STRONGER IN EUROPE

Speaking at the DTİK Netherlands – Den Bosch Meeting, DTİK Europe Regional Representatives Board Chairman Turgut Torunoğulları drew attention to the transformation of the Turkish business community in Europe from workers to employers and called for unity and collective wisdom.

DTİK NETHERLANDS – DEN BOSCH MEETING HELD

The World Turkish Business Council (DTİK), operating under the umbrella of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), brought together representatives of the Turkish business community in the Netherlands in Den Bosch. The meeting, held at the Edelstall Sintronic Hall, comprehensively addressed the current situation of the Turkish diaspora in Europe, the challenges it faces, and future-oriented strategies.

The meeting was chaired by Turgut Torunoğulları, Chairman of the DTİK Europe Regional Representatives Board and DTİK Netherlands Representative.

STRONG DIPLOMATIC AND INSTITUTIONAL PARTICIPATION

The gathering attracted strong interest from the diplomatic and commercial representatives of the Republic of Türkiye in the Netherlands. Participants included DEİK Deputy Secretary General Adem Yavuz; Deputy Consul of the Republic of Türkiye in Rotterdam, Bilal Köse; Trade Counselors from the Turkish Missions in The Hague, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam; Counselor for Treasury and Finance at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in The Hague, Zafer Düzenli; and Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Amersfoort, Titus F. P. Kramer.

“WE ARE NO LONGER JUST WORKERS IN EUROPE, BUT DECISION-MAKERS”

Evaluating the main agenda of the meeting, Turgut Torunoğulları drew attention to the socio-economic transformation of the Turkish community in Europe and stated:

“In the countries we once came to as workers, we are now employers. Our young people, empowered through education, are taking on key roles across Europe and becoming influential in both business and politics.”

Torunoğulları noted that they aim to establish a more inclusive and widespread DTİK representative structure across the Netherlands, adding that in recent years they have been holding regular meetings with expats who have come to the Netherlands as well as young professionals educated in the country.

EMPHASIS ON ‘UNITY IS STRENGTH’

Stating that they attach special importance to initiatives that pave the way for young people, Torunoğulları said that the information and findings obtained from these meetings are compiled into reports and submitted to DEİK President Nail Olpak and the Board of Directors.

“Dreams never end. Unity creates strength. Let us grow together by sharing our knowledge,” he said, inviting Turkish businesspeople to unite under the umbrella of DTİK.

DTİK AS THE KEY TO DIASPORA DIPLOMACY

DEİK Deputy Secretary General Adem Yavuz emphasized in his remarks that DTİK is not merely a business network, stating, “DTİK serves as a strategic bridge between Türkiye and its diaspora. Strengthening the institutional capacity of the Turkish business community in Europe and enhancing cross-sector cooperation are among our priorities.”

LEGAL CHALLENGES AND THE EU PROCESS ON THE AGENDA

During the evaluation session of the meeting, the legal challenges faced by Turkish investors in the Netherlands, the role of civil society organizations, and the strengthening of institutional representation were discussed.

In addition, the following issues were addressed: increasing gender balance; harmonizing Turkish and European business cultures; establishing sectoral working groups; and enhancing engagement with the European Union process and the European Parliament.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was emphasized that the problems and demands of the Turkish diaspora should be conveyed more strongly at the EU level.
